2009 Rainbow Grants Reception  

Proud FM radio celeb Shaun Proulx helped to announce grants for 38 community projects as he hosted the 2009 Rainbow Grants Reception on April 16 at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre.

In addition to a heartfelt community call to action from queer parenting advocate, keynote speaker and 2008 Steinert & Ferreiro Award recipient Rachel Epstein, and an award presentation by volunteers and donors Francisco Jaurez and Jordan Levitin, the reception also paid tribute to several members of the Fruit, the dedicated volunteers born from the days of the LGCA’s Fruit Cocktail fundraiser cabaret.
